Location, service, breakfast and cleanliness are topnotch. The room location is another story- we were in room 305 which is sandwiched on one side to the heavy door leading out to pool and it slams very loudly and the other side is the wall of windows that is right next to pool where guests mingle and can be loud and are allowed out there until 11pm. Also, complained to front desk several times of the people upstairs that were constantly walking back and forth for more than an hour, dropping heavy suitcases, arguing, etc, but they said there was nothing to be done until quiet time at 11pm. Shout out to breakfast man as he kept the items replenished and was constantly cleaning. We would book again, but only to a top room floor and away from pool.

We stayed here for the week in October and found this place quite lovely. The porch is very nice, it is very clean, great location, expresso bar is not half bad ( you get a little discount if you are staying there), porters bring bags to rooms, and the bed was comfortable. This was an overall “5” in our book, but a few warnings for picky travelers: *Bathrooms are TINY — think closet sizes (that was the reason for the “4” ) *Breakfast is more like a hotel with bread, bagels, juice, coffee, and cereal, but well- stocked and clean * make no mistake, it’s a house. You may hear people above you and in the next room moving around. It’s not horribly noisy, but we aren’t picky. * AC and heat are on separate controls — you may need to fidget to find your best temp Overall, wonderful stay. We appreciated the reviews we read prior to staying, so there were no surprises.

I enjoyed my stay at the big green house. Best things: the huge hot tub with waterfall, free coffee and tea and apples all day, cool porches and balconies to sit on and board games to play. Bike rentals are steps away. No microwave or fridge in the rooms. No cars outside. I got a good price in early June by going through Expedia, but $30 was added on by the hotel. I would definitely go there again!

We had an amazing experience at the Inn on Mackinac. Staff was so friendly and helpful, location was perfect, hot tub was nice, front porch was relaxing, and the entire place was so quaint. It should probably not be called a bed and breakfast as the breakfast was really just a continental, but for the price we paid on the island, we can't complain. Skye at the front desk went out of her way to give us recommendations for dining and was super helpful. Our room was ready early and the room was bigger than I expected. We can't wait to go back.

The Victorian harbor room on the fifth floor is by far one of the best views on Mackinac Island. Sitting on the porch in the mornings/evenings was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The Inn is centrally located, only a 5-8 minute walk to downtown. Staff is great, nice breakfast setup. We had a wonderful time, can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Great place to stay on the island! Great location! Rooms are cute and clean, functional common areas, great balcony and a deck with a large hot tub. The breakfast was an added bonus. There is coffee, and hot tea available and fresh chocolate chip cookies in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

Inn of Mackinac is in Great location just down the street from the main street, St. Ann's church isnt even a block from the Inn and the butterfly house is just a lil farther behind the church. The service is superb all the hotel staff as been more then accommodating, recommending restaurants, and sights to see. Its nice to sit on the wrap around porch and watch the sunrise in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the island wake up. There's a complimentary continental breakfast of pasties, hard boiled, cereal, eggs, fruit, cold juices along with coffee. This Inn is very family friendly the room are a bit smaller but the history of the Inn it stands to reason you don't stay in your room that much anyway lot to explore on the Island. We had a wonderful stay..

This was our first visit to Mackinac, and the Inn was arranged by our travel agent. It's a beautiful old Inn that appears to be well-kept. A nice change of pace from your typical Marriott or Hilton, etc. Our room was quite small, but it worked. We had a small balcony, which not all rooms have. Bathroom is VERY small, and the sink is outside of the bathroom area with faucets that require you to hold them in the "on" position for water to stream out. Bed was comfortable, tv had basic cable channels but not much else. Hairdryer upon request from front desk. Breakfast was a simple continental spread, cookies at dusk. The wraparound porch lends itself to relaxing, people-watching, and conversation. Within walking (or riding) distance to restaurants, shops, waterfront, and attractions. This place did the trick, overall.
